On my Stuart’s Soapbox blog I’ve just written a rather lengthy post about the shambles that is Marketing Leeds. I won’t repeat it all here but for anyone with an interesting in marketing, ethics or new media it is probably worth a read. It references the articles in today’s PR Week and Yorkshire Post, both of which point to what a shambles Marketing Leeds currently is.
It makes me really angry as I’d love for the campaign to work. I really do "Leeds Live It Love It’ (even if it is a corny recycled slogan stolen from countless other place marketing campaigns). I just wish they would get their act together. I’m not the only business person (or politician) in Leeds who feels like this.
