It's not the manifesto and how it's presented it's the substance and the actual actions at the end of the day. The big IF in all of this propoganda is it doesn't state how they are going to pay for all of these pledges. It really is a cartoon! All political parties should be forced to talk straight on what they pledge and have a very clearly outlined business plan on how and when all their pledges will be funded and achieved. Perhaps they may even make a profit!

Stuart – the challenge isn't communicating manifesto promises. It's persuading voters to trust the party with their votes. Labour's problem is explaining why they haven't done all these things in the last 13 years – and repairing the damage caused by Iraq and MPs expenses. All the major parties face a similar crisis of voter confidence, but it's inevitably harder for a party that's been in power for 13 years.
